CDN Curates Costume Display American Arts & Culture Center in Paris, France
Cabaret Diversity Network was invited to curate the costume display for the Josephine Baker In All Her Colors Gala. The event was presented by the American Democrats Aboard, Paris Chapter, and held at the Mona Bismark American Arts & Culture Center in Paris, France. In a star studded evening with cabaret performers such as Brian Scott Bagely and Ursula Karison, spoken word artists, and esteemed speaker, the event celebrated and venerated Josephine Baker.
The costume display was again bolstered by Cabaret Diversity Network collaborators, RevArte Entertainment and La Compagnie du Costume. The Banana Skirt costume and vintage military uniform was worn by dancer, Shaice Sloan, in the CDN Pop-up Performance in front of the Pantheon in May 2021. See the performance on our home page and read about the event on our blog.
